The AMA National Grand Prix Championship has announced a new partnership with Twiceme Technology, a company known for its smart safety gear, covering the 2026 and 2027 racing seasons. The deal aims to bring better emergency response tools to off-road motorcycle racing.
Twiceme Technology makes gear that stores a rider's medical info and emergency contacts. In a crash, first responders can scan the gear with a smartphone to get critical details fast. This could cut down on confusion at the track when every second counts.
The NGPC series, which runs through the West Coast, features some of the toughest desert and Grand Prix style races in the country. Riders push hard over rough terrain, and injuries are a real risk. The partnership will likely mean more riders using Twiceme equipped helmets, chest protectors, or other gear.
Officials from both sides said the focus is on rider safety without adding extra steps for racers. The tech is built into existing products, so it does not get in the way. For the 2026 and 2027 seasons, expect to see Twiceme branding at events and possibly some gear giveaways or demos in the pits.
This move fits a growing trend in motorsports where digital safety tools are becoming standard. Other series have already adopted similar systems. For NGPC, it is a practical step to protect its athletes and keep the sport moving forward.
