Ogeechee Technical College celebrated its Radiologic Technology Class of 2026 with a formal pinning ceremony on April 30th. The event marked a significant milestone for the students, who have completed the rigorous academic and clinical requirements of the program. During the ceremony, each student received a personalized pin, symbolizing their entry into the medical imaging profession and their commitment to patient care.
In addition to the pinning, the college recognized several students for outstanding performance throughout the past year. Awards were given for clinical excellence, academic achievement, and leadership within the program. Faculty members highlighted the dedication and professionalism shown by the class, noting that many students balanced coursework with demanding clinical rotations at local hospitals and imaging centers.
Clinical partners who have supported the program were also honored. These facilities provided hands-on training and mentorship, helping students develop the technical skills needed for radiography. The ceremony concluded with a reception for students, families, and faculty. The Class of 2026 will now prepare for their national certification exams, with many graduates already pursuing job opportunities in the region.
